The Party Line game has asymmetrical win conditions that depend on which secret faction you belong to: Loyalists, Opportunists or Purists.

The Loyalist objective is for the majority of players to still be in the Farmer’s political party at the end of the game.

Let’s just say the other two factions have very different and possibly changing objectives.

Each player will start with the following:

Your Secret Role Card with a special power to be played during the game. Playing your special power reveals your Role.

Your Secret Faction Card which determines your objective and win-conditions.

You also start with a Player Dashboard, Player Piece, Endorsement Token, Position Marker, and Two Vote Cards (Support and Oppose).

The game consists of 5 rounds, each with 4 phases:

Phase I: Read the Agenda Card

Phase II: Debate, Make Deals and Cast Votes

Phase III: Reveal the Party Line & Player Votes

Phase IV: Scoring & Movement

Players change their score based on their vote:

If their vote agreed with Party Line → move up the score board.

Disagree → move down and flip token to “Out of the Party.”

After scoring, players move on The Farm to gain powerful new abilities.

What happens when a player flips their token to “Out of Party”?

Loyalists and Purists cannot win if they are still out of the Party at the end of the game. They will need to find a way back into the Party.

If Opportunist flip out of the Party, they will change their objectives and win conditions.

After Scoring and Moving is done, you start the next round.
